A 3D voxel sandbox on a face-centred-cubic lattice where everything is a rule sequence acting on a shape. The cell is 13 bits: one self-bit (rest matter) plus twelve direction bits (signals at c). Evolution is R∘T — transport every signal one hop, then route by a single lookup table.
rt_FCC1→3 · 3→6 · 6→1 — i.e. A→A·B→B·C→A. Everything else is a fixed point. From a lone A seed this is a light-speed gun (signal count grows at slope 1.0000). It is proven Turing-complete on FCC (Shen 2026).
Deck — observation deck: specimen viewer (gun, photon, rest matter, gliders) plus the 211-particle spectrum (v = m/N) and a rule studio — edit the 13-bit table, run & classify, auto-search for movers/guns, share codes.
Workshop — the centrepiece: place a noun (seed), apply a verb (rule sequence) to grow / move / compute / carve it into a product. Verbs fit their noun-class only — wrong pairings give a degenerate product (separability is partial, and discovery is the loop).
Garden — forward growth: drop one seed, run one Birth/Survival rule, and watch which of six 3D forms grows (solid crystal · hollow shell · skeletal · coral · dendritic · pulsing fractal). A morphology classifier names what you made; the design studio (✎) authors any rule + seed with shareable codes.
World — build terrain, fire beams; signals reflect off matter, guns ignite, beams deposit blocks.
Logic — verified gates (Gun · AND · NOT · NAND) with live truth readout.
Chunks — big terrain, per-chunk dirty re-mesh, draw-call HUD.
Roam — joystick flight over deterministic streamed terrain; edits persist.
• drag orbit · pinch/wheel zoom · two-finger tap reset
• tap a block face → run the current tool (place / dig / spark)
• Roam: on-screen joystick to fly
Forrest Shen, with Claude · 2026 · 13-bit model per Cosmic Grid ch.5 & Shen (2026), FCC single-rule Turing completeness
Headless checks on the pure engine (no Three.js). (1)–(4) reproduce Shen (2026) exactly; (5)–(12) are the prototype + crafting contracts. Honesty rule: a failing check is shown red, never papered over.
Set the Birth / Survival rule and a seed, grow it, and the lattice tells you which of the six forms you made. Every creation has a share code.
Any combination works. Tip: a lone point seed only offers k = 1 sites, so a single-cell seed needs 1 ∈ B to sprout — bigger seeds don't.
—211 stable single particles enumerated along (1,0,1): 107 massless (k=0) + 104 massive (k=1, the cycle runs through the self-bit). Speed is exactly v = m / N. Tap a row to run it on the Deck, or ✎ to load its rule into the studio.
Edit the 8192-entry table: map any 13-bit input state to an output. A self → direction map is emission; direction → self is absorption. Hunt for a glowing gun or a moving cluster.
Generate random self↔direction rule-sets, batch-run them, and keep the ones that turn into ✨ glowing movers or 🌱⚡ guns.
